I was surprised to see Elliott Gould’s name associated with Mr X, but some sources were claiming it to be him. Elliott Gould is a Hollywood movie and television star, who happened to be in London around July 1973.
Angie Bowie admitted to me that she had a inkling that Elliott may have been in attendance.
I wrote to Elliott – proper old fashioned envelope job – and three weeks later, an email response came back from the man himself. Thank you Elliott.
Elliott also believes he was at the party, but he has confirmed that the person in the photograph, Mr X, is not him.
